Business lending backed by the U.S. Small Business Administration in Wisconsin rose by 30% from March to April, although the monthly total continued the recession-driven pattern of falling well below the level from a year ago.
The SBA last month guaranteed 148 loans in the state totaling $27.0 million. That was up from $20.7 million in March, but far short of the $40.9 million lent in April 2008. Read More...
