With apologies for a long posting let me throw something controversial for this forum. I think we are beginning to see the death spiral of pure capitalism. The signs were all there for us to see in the 1980s when we saw the death of…
I am curious about your inner city project. Are you trying to address the issues of digital divide similar to the Darien Dash (http://www.answers.com/topic/darien-dash) or is there a different reason. The reasons I ask is because I want to see what…
The tanking of the economy (no, I don't think the White House knows how bad things really are.) has shown that blind faith in large institutional systems is unwarranted and risky. Entrepreneurs will have to build trust from the ground up, and…

UW-Whitewater used to have SURPLUS computers that are still very good between the price of $70 and $100 each. I'm not sure if they still do that, but I can check if you like.

There are many opportunities in this down economy. I'm providing computer services…

I am curious about your inner city project. Are you trying to address the issues of digital divide similar to the Darien Dash (http://www.answers.com/topic/darien-dash) or is there a different reason. The reasons I ask is because I want to see what your ultimate goal is which in turn will drive whether the project will fit under initiatives such as http://laptop.org/en/ or several others that exist. The other issue to consider is whether they need access to the internet, which opens a whole new set of possibilities and problems. Anyway I was just curious..sounds like a very cool project. Good luck.
